Tranzac Holiday Gift Fair weekend afternoons in December

I’ve been busy organizing Tranzac’s annual holiday craft fair. This is an excellent place to find a one of a kind handmade gift for someone you love … or to indulgently buy yourself soap and a new necklace (ahem) and maybe some cozy wool insoles for your boots … The fair’s been running for over two decades under different names. This time we figured we’d make it super clear by putting the location in the name. Please drop by and shop! It’s running 12 – 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until December 17th. Admission is free. And while you’re there, buy a beer! Annex Cat Rescue (with catnip toys for your feline buddies) and Toronto Bee Rescue will be there, as well as dozens of vendors selling everything from scarves and hats and mitts to pottery and kids clothing; funky stationary, paintings, macrame plant holders, handmade books, candles (and lamps) made out of liquor bottles, ornamuffs and more.

Postcard art care of Sandra Taylor, who will be at the fair December 16.
