Happy New Year! SG Presents 2024 kicks off this week with my monthly show in Tranzac’s Southern Cross featuring special guest Kat McLevey. Kat will be backed by Rachael Cardiello on a few tunes and I will have Tania Gill and Michael Herring with me.
Kat McLevey is a multi-tool musician most commonly reached for these days as a bassist and backing vocalist. There was once a time when the first reach was singer/songwriter of folk songs. After four years of recovering from a jazz degree, McLevey’s emotive storytelling through easy-moving melodies and fingerpicking guitar is a worthy pick from the pocket.
