It sorta feels like spring, right? Remember you still need to wear a coat. That gets me every time.
I’m writing to tell you about my second show of the year, at the Local. The Local – which is beside the Revue on Roncey – is one of my favourite little watering holes to just stop in at and listen to some tunes. Somehow I think this is my first actual gig there, though I’m sure I’ve been on stage before helping wrap cables and put away mics.
Anyway … playing this one as a duo with Paul Kolinski, which is always a pleasure. I’ve been setting monthly songwriting deadlines for myself this year, and it’s been working. So we’ll play some new tunes, some older ones and maybe some quite old ones; and a few covers … hopefully Paul will sing you a few songs too.
