Hello and happy spring!
Paul Kolinski’s band Heavy On The Willie is doing a fill in show this Saturday, May 4 at Tranzac (at 10 pm! Yes, possibly past my bedtime); and I’m going to do an opening set with Paul and Michael. If you haven’t heard Paul’s solo project yet you are in for a treat; if you have heard it already you are also in for a treat!
Heavy On The Willie:
Originating in interpreting the songs of Willie Nelson, Heavy on the Willie is nowadays heavy on the songs of Paul Kolinski, which are songs of longing and connection, played with soul and introspection, and a desire for attunement. Paul will be joined by Michael Herring and Dave Clark for this set (possibly more folks tbc!). Check out Paul’s bandcamp discography here.
